Position Summary
We are currently seeking experienced Roofing Foremen to lead commercial roofing crews on projects in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial roofing experience, leadership ability, and a serious commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship.
This position is responsible for helping manage day-to-day field operations, directing crew members, coordinating materials and equipment, and ensuring roofing work is completed according to project requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct commercial roofing crews on assigned projects.
- Install and oversee the installation of TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal roofing, insulation, flashing, and related roof system components.
- Read and understand project plans, specifications, details, and manufacturer requirements.
- Coordinate daily work tasks, material needs, tools, equipment, and crew assignments.
- Monitor jobsite safety and ensure company safety practices are followed.
- Communicate with project managers, superintendents, crew members, and other trades as needed.
- Maintain quality control throughout the installation process.
- Track job progress and help ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule. • Train and mentor less-experienced crew members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
Skills and Qualifications
- Prior commercial roofing experience required.
- Foreman, lead, or crew leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with TPO, PVC, EPDM, and/or metal roofing systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing installation practices.
- Safety-oriented mindset with the ability to lead by example.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to read plans, details, and project documents preferred.
- Ability to perform physical work on a regular basis.
- Ability to lift 50 to 60 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work well with crews, supervisors, and project teams.
